Krishna Prasadam
( Spiritual Sanctified Food )
What Is the Meaning of Prasadam? Why Should We Accept Prasadam?
Prasadam is a type of food that not only nourishes the body but also purifies the mind and the soul. Vedic literature describes the glory of prasadam in a very beautiful way. The word prasadam means food that is prepared by devotees of the Lord and offered to God.
How Is Prasadam Prepared?
Here, we do not hire commercial cooks to prepare prasadam; rather, it is prepared personally by devotees, with great emphasis on purity. The food is cooked according to Vedic principles, keeping the body, mind, and soul in mind during its preparation. Afterward, this food is offered to the Lord as naivedya (royal offering). Once offered, it is no longer considered ordinary food but becomes prasadam.
Vedic tradition
Finally, prasadam is served according to Vedic tradition. During this two-day program, whatever prasadam you partake of will be an unforgettable experience for your entire life, as prasadam carries a truly divine and unique taste.
